The Council Leadership Fund (“CLF”) is a political action committee (PAC) established nearly 30 years ago. As a leadership fund, the primary purpose of the CLF is to protect incumbent members of Cleveland City Council. Funds raised are contributed in the form of campaign contributions to members of City Council or spent as independent expenditures on behalf of members of Council. Spending by the CLF is directed by the City Council President.
